Zara Edgingway is a twenty-six-year-old secretary. She has a daughter that apparently knows-it-all and a best friend that could possibly have the mouth of Satan, but she's been with her through hell and back. Then there's the hunk'a'licious biker neighbour finally showing interest in her.
If only she isn't about to face her next obstacle in life, the one she ran from six years ago: her ex husband.

Talon Marcus is the president of the Hawks Motorcycle Club. For two years, he's had his eye on the quiet, reclusive, yet sassy, neighbour Zara. Finally, he has the chance to claim her as his woman. Just when her past catches up with her, she'll need, not only his protection, but the help from his biker brothers.
Now, if only she'd stop fighting him along the way.

My Review:
Zara has been on the run and in hiding for the last 6 years, she has a double to protect and a best friend she love more than anything but when she least expects it her sexy biker neighbor decides to barge in but not only through her door but literally into her life. Even with what she says or does he refuses to not have her as his. In the chaos of Talon trying to convince her she is his, men keep turning up and coming to her door seeking her out. But the only person she does not expect to see is her baby brother, he comes baring new that shakes her from head to toe.

With the fear of trying to give love a second chance and worrying about her ex coming to kill her and her new family. Zara is at a loss of what to do and is ready to lose her nerve – she is only just holding on by a thread – her house becomes filled to the brim with people that love and want to help and protect her. As she beings to get comfortable with Talon and his child as a part of her life, her worst nightmare is about to come true.

The best part of this book was the way everyone talked to each other. Talon was all filled with angst and manliness yet couldn't help but be softened by Zara. Zara and Darla were hilarious. All of the nicknames and just the things they said to each other had me cracking up even when it was supposed to be a serious moment. If you like a book filled with lots of testosterone and drama.
