Synopsis (for Goodreads):
Hooking up is only the beginning of the fun in this sexy and irresistible second installment of the thrilling New Adult series, Boomerang.

Adam Blackwood has it all. At twenty-two, he’s fabulously wealthy, Ryan Gosling-hot and at the top of the heap in the business world. His life is perfect, until a scandal from his past resurfaces and knocks the tech wunderkind down, throwing his company, Boomerang, a hook-up site for millennials, into chaos.

Three years ago, Adam married his high school love—and then lost her in a tragic accident. Now, the heartbreak and guilt he’s tried to bury with work and women begins to take over his life.

Alison Quick, the twenty-one-year-old daughter of a business tycoon—and the very ex-girlfriend of Boomerang’s former intern, Ethan—has a problem of her own. She’s got one chance to prove to her father that she deserves a place in his empire by grabbing control of Boomerang and taking Adam down.

But as Alison moves in on him, armed with a cadre of lawyers and accountants, she discovers there’s much more to Adam and Boomerang than meets the eye. Will earning her father’s approval come at the price of losing her first real love? It appears so, unless Adam can forgive her for wrecking his life and trying to steal his livelihood. But Alison hopes that old adage is right. Maybe love can conquer all.

My Review:
Founder and Owner of Boomerang, Adam Blackwood has accomplished a lot with his life and his business at a young age but he is ready to expand his business even more. With the plans to start a production company Adam needs an investor to help him make his vision to become a reality. Alison’s dad is a wealthy ruthless business man who has his eye on investing in boomerang but he needs to make sure that his millions of dollars will be going into good investment, Alison is assigned to look into Boomerang and Adam by working closely with the company. Even when Adam surrounds himself with people he trusts and likes he does not really let anyone in ever since his ex-died, but Alison makes him want to change all of that in a nanosecond even though they both try to fight the attraction towards one another but giving in feels good.

What I liked most about rebound was that if felt good it wasn’t about anger, drama and broken characters it was still sexy without it mostly being about the sex. I fell in love with Adam’s character and was a goner for him from the get-go, as usual the rich characters own their own companies are pretty much shitheads and I liked that Adam was genuine and a nice guy who loved his company and employees whole heartedly it’s just he was very guarded when it came to his heart. It was nice to know he recognized that he had feelings for Alison and he was very determined to have her as his, and even though there is really nothing I didn’t like about Alison I know she cheated on Ethan when they were together and that action was never excused. She made the mistake and in the end she paid for that by losing Ethan and she moved on with her life. And she was able to form a real friendship with Mia – Ethan’s current girlfriend.

Rebound was just one of those books that you just can’t put down, it’s the kind that you can’t help that puts a smile on your face when reading the book. If you are looking for a New Adult series that is low on the drama and anger then the Boomerang series are the perfect one’s for you. Can’t wait for the next one in the series since Adams younger brother was a scene stealer. I could re-read this book again it’s just one of those books that will never get old.
