Synopsis:
Can Anna find love in the City of Light?

Anna is happy in Atlanta. She has a loyal best friend and a crush on her coworker at the movie theater, who is just starting to return her affection. So she's less than thrilled when her father decides to send her to a boarding school in Paris for her senior year.

But despite not speaking a word of French, Anna meets some cool new people, including the handsome Étienne St. Clair, who quickly becomes her best friend. Unfortunately, he's taken —and Anna might be, too. Will a year of romantic near misses end with the French kiss she's waiting for?

My Review:
This book follows Anna Oliphant in her last year of school (Senior Year). Except she is not graduating high school in her hometown Atlanta. She is at SOAP (The School of America in Paris). While Anna is struggling to master the native language and continue her film review blog, she sees herself falling head over heels for Etienne St. Clair who already has a girlfriend and happens to be one of her best friends.

Filled with romantic near misses between her and Etienne also known as St. Clair, Anna & The French Kiss is charming, down to earth read. For all of its drama, there was a definite sense of calm t the writing and the storyline that made the book very appealing, along with the vast amount of cute scenes in the book.

In terms of the characters, St. Clair was my favorite he was funny, charming and brilliantly good-looking so the book described him. While I don’t always agree with the way he deals with his problems in the book, I’m still glad for the way the book ended for him. Other characters I liked Rashmi and Anna. As a pair they don’t have many scenes together but the ones they do share are funny and heartfelt. Anna is just a little bit grating in her constant inner monologue but overall she is an interesting female lead character.

My favorite part was the setting. I love France and I really felt like I could live there for the time when I read the book.

I'm glad you liked it as well :)
