Synopsis (from Good Reads):
A single secret changes everything.

With no college ambition—or desire to care—Luke Hannon’s ready to bail on school before senior year even begins. But when he spots the hot new girl reading an upside down map, he changes his mind.

Hailey Saldino desperately wants to start fresh at a school where she's free of the snide remarks and hurtful stares. A place where no one knows her past…or her son, Brady.

Luke wants a no strings attached, physical relationship, until Hailey becomes more than a cute girl in a skirt. Usually his bad boy reputation hooks the ladies but it won't be enough to land a girl like Hailey. Needing a lasting approach, Luke decides to be honest. No lies. No BS. As the connection between them deepens, Luke shares all his shameful secrets.

Afraid to lose one of the few people who’s ever looked at her as something other than a slut, Hailey buries herself in compounding lies. And when Hailey's purposeful deceit blindsides Luke, he must decide if he'll walk away, or accept Hailey and the little man she already loves.

My review:
Haha I so thought that this book was an awesome read. Tale of 2 high school teenagers overcoming their individual obstacles in life and managing to learn how to trust again. Beautifully written story about love, regret, lies truths and a lot of misunderstandings all interlaced together.

I managed to read this book the say day I got approved to read it, because I wanted to see what would happen at every single page turn in the book. Hailey has had to face a lot of obstacles that were presented to her and a trying time in school, and more hard times at home through everything she goes she always came out on top. Luke has had a hard time with all his past issues and hurts, but really in the end he finds peace in past interests.

There was nothing wrong with this book and I found I enjoy this book very much and I would recommend you read this book, I thought it was awesome as I stated above it was a very realistic story about what teenagers in today’s society have to face and what they can do.

Synopsis (from Goodreads):
And the award goes to…

Not Nina Alexander that’s for sure. With her best gracious loser face firmly in place, Hollywood’s hottest starlet is hoping to end her evening of disappointment with a graceful exit stage left. Only an unexpected proposal and an awkward wardrobe malfunction mean that this is certainly going to be a night to remember… for all the wrong reasons! So what girl would resist the gorgeous Dominic Kelly coming to her rescue?! Especially when he’s whisking her out of the paparazzi’s prying eyes on the back of his motorbike – and wearing a tux to rival James Bond!

Nina soon realises that the only way to recover from such a scandal is to toughen up and snag the role of the decade in the year’s hottest YA screen adaptation. Who better to train her than her very own professional stuntman? Getting up close and personal with Dom will take Nina well out of her comfort zone – both professionally and in her closely scrutinized private life. But this A-list couple know only too well that’s it not all happy ever afters in Hollywood…

My Review:
Nina is throwing herself a full on pity party to being with because she didn’t win that silly Oscar come on boo-hoo that means everyone thinks she is rubbish. I did have a pretty hard time trying to believe that a rom-com actress earned an Oscar nomination but really what could I know about that stuff. But thankfully after her disastrous exit from the party, Nina becomes a lot more interesting and les pitful. She sure has a bunch of issues rattling around up in her head about having to put on this act all the time and not really trusting anyone to know the real her, but she is pretty gutsy and very determined and fun, and I like her for all of that. I like how she throws herself into her training with Dom and how she is always trying to get the best out of everything she does in life.

For Dom (Shortname Dom) well all idiot injury ignoring moments put aside he is very sexy and a thrill ride of a guy who knows how to appreciate all of Nina’s finer qualities about her. He also has an army of sisters always on hand to baby him when needing to, so it is no wonder he is never bothered to settle down.

This has been a fun book that put on a few unexpected adventures even on the way to a few steamy scenes and eventual hot romance. I probably would have like that to be done with a little less double-standard brooding from Dom, but at least he knows he is being stupid even as he sulks and did find the way to a potentially disagreement issue melted away was a little convenient. But small things aside this was an enjoyable read with a little hint of Hollywood’s rich and famous, heaps of guts and determination and an ending that ticked all my happy loving boxes.

But though trouble always seems to find Lara, it seems love is rather more elusive.

My Review:
So far my fav kind of movie is comedy and romance. I like other kinds of movies too but I my fall backs are always comedy and romance. They have the ability to make me feel better but they can also make me forget and make others forget about the daily stress in life for a little while. For some reason I hardly ever read anything close to romantic comedy or books with so much humor, I think I may start reading more of them due to this book. This novel is on point hilarious, this was the first book I have ever read by these authors and I might just becoming a big fan of theirs. This book impressed me with their combination of writing styles, it seems like they were playing off one another really good.

The Extraordinary Life of Lara Craft (Not Croft) was pure fun and hilarious. Lara Craft literally travels around the world to try and find her place in the world, but as you can imagine, funny situations seemed to follow her everywhere she went. I think there will be something humorous that pretty much all readers will enjoy and can possibly relate to Lara Craft in one way or another. Even though this book starts out with her kind of escaping a breakup. You so have to admire her positive spin on things. She will not let anything get her down no matter what, and that was something I sure did love about her, this is a girl I would love as a best friend. With this book I did find myself laughing my butt off and smiling with this huge grin on face while reading page after page before I even knew my face had that silly grin. This book will leave you laughing, giggling, smiling and come on guys is that really a bad thing. Sometimes we need the giggles and laughter and smiles to make our day a little bit brighter.

Synopsis (from Goodreads):
Roxanne Daniels was supposed to be spending her summer getting ready to head off to Julliard. That was the plan.

But that was before-- Before she found her mother’s lifeless body-- Before she walked in on her boyfriend in bed with someone else. Before she knew what heart shattering pain felt like.

Now all she wants is for the pain to go away. But it never does.

Until him. A complete stranger who could end up being much more.

But letting go and moving on is easier said than done.

My Review:
Roxy’s life is literally in turmoil. Her mother passed away unexpectedly of a brain aneurism and the day after her funeral, Roxy caught her boyfriend (at the time) of 4 years in bed with one of her (used to be) best friends. She is in so much pain, that she cannot physically get out of bed. In order to drown out her feelings she begins taking her mother’s old prescription drugs. Her father is (an Ahole in my opinion) a workaholic and has been an absent father most of the time, her older brother Ryan (who is a dxxk and controlling sometimes) and his best friend Brent are trying really hard to help Roxy. But are dealing with their own pain at the same time, her bestie Tonya tries her hardest to be there for Roxy but no one seems to be able to make her feel better.

Then one day Roxy meets Sexy Surfer boy Jordan. When Roxy is with him the pain of everything going on in her life isn’t so bad, she warns Jordan that she is broken and doesn’t want a relationship. They can have a fun summer fling, but is all it can be. However as both of their feelings grows toward one another things seem to get complicated, Jordan’s patience starts to be tested and Roxy’s trust issues start to make their way to the surface.

Without you was slowly becoming very addicting to read. I sometimes found myself becoming frustrated with her father for being an Ahole and her brother Ryan being sometimes controlling and I was crying here and there because of the gut-wrenching pain and suffering that Roxy was going through in the book. Sometimes her actions seemed a bit immature for an 18 year old but she was under so much stress within the book. I was falling for Jordan, he was a great character who had a very painful past but he learned from his mistakes and was so very supporting when it came to Roxy. Love how loyal and close Roxy and Tonya were and enjoyed very much reading about their friendship.

The story was bloody long and could have been shortened just a little. There was heaps of back and forth with Roxy and Jordan which sometimes drove me up the wall and wanting slap my forehead. They had one hell of a roller coaster of a relationship. It sucks this book ended with a cliffhanger and nothing got resolved with Jordan and Roxy, but I guess we have to find out in the next book then.

An Irish Mixed Martial Artist who is fighting for the UFC Championship in Las Vegas.

A beautiful hustler who is counting the clock down to her twenty-eighth birthday when she can finally retire and enjoy her life.

A chance encounter that changes both of their lives forever.

My Review:
This is the first book in Sele Chardou Love Unexpected series, it is not a pretty one either. Torin is a UFC fighter from Ireland and is used to using his knuckles to get what he wants. Chiara is a hooker, she makes her money to support herself and her older sister’s health issues.

It’s a fast-paced gritty tale of 2 damaged people with very dark pasts and presents learning to love and struggle through all circumstance to try and be together.

I very much enjoyed this book and would like to continue reading the next book in the series.

But maybe, after the dust settles and the smoke clears, love can bloom with a fresh start.

My Review:
Me being a big of the show Nashville – you could say I have been digging these country romances these days and Baby Stetson has a perfect mix of Romance, Suspense and Drama to make for a real fun read for any fans of the tv hit show.

Avery is our heroine she is a pint sized spark plug with little sass in her 2 step and boy she is going to need it after getting involved in some full on drama within in this book and with Lucas, as her hot sexy leading man, maybe we can a show made of this book.

I am going to be honest and say that most times it a bit long and I would have loved just a little more dialogue between the characters, but other than that I really did enjoy reading this book and if you are looking for a Country Queen and a Broody and some Channel Drama I would say you so need to quickly grab Baby Stetson. And it’s free from Amazon for a limited time I think. So go now and grab it would you.

ARC Review: Everything Has Changed

22559484Everything Has Changed by Mia Kayla

Publisher: Mam Books LLC, 2015
313 pages, kindle edition
Source: Netgalley
Genre: New Adult, Romance, Contemporary, Sports
Links: Goodreads | Amazon

Synopsis (from Goodreads):
Imagine finding the love of your life at the age of six.

Bliss Carrington did.

Bliss has known Jimmy Brason since first grade. He took on the role of the big brother Bliss never had, breaking Bliss out of her shy shell, encouraging her to have fun in high school, and pushing her to live her life to the fullest. They have always been friends—until one day, Bliss wanted more. Now seeing women everywhere swooning over Jimmy, head quarterback of the New York Cougars, is enough to drive her to madness.

Jimmy has been in love with Bliss forever, but she doesn’t know and she can never find out. In all the craziness of his fast track to fame and money, Bliss is the one person who has kept him sane. He firmly believes that history repeats itself and with his tainted past, he’s afraid that he’s fated to hurt her if he allows himself to follow his heart.

Bliss has watched Jimmy grow from a boy into a man, and it’s not fair that someone else will get to keep him when she knows in her heart that he only belongs to her.

When they tiptoe on the edge of love, can their friendship remain intact with both of them ignoring the rumblings that’s threatening to explode?

EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED is a story of love, loss, and longing for the one you grew up loving.

My Review:
This story is about Bliss and Jimmy, they have been best friends since they were 6 yeaers old first day of school while catching the bus together. Now they’re madly in love with one another but no one wants to admit to it and ruin their friendship. Jimmy has an attitude like ‘if I can’t have you then I don’t want anyone else to have you’. Bliss watches his sex life play out in the media and it guts her every time she sees it and that is what the most frustrating thing about this book is.

When they are having their aha moment though it is something truly beautiful and everything starts clicking into place. For a short time anyway. Then there is an incident they have their very new relationship taking 10 or more steps backwards to being almost nonexistent all over again.

This story is full of ups and downs and takes a terrible accident for both Bliss and Jimmy to decide to fight for their relationship. There are some highly emotional moments in this story and you will want to keep reading to see how it all plays out. If you are looking for a well written interesting and emotional story, I would recommend this book for you.
